hd+co is a Canadian company based in Toronto, founded by interior designer and stylist Emily Staunton. The collection of handwoven rugs are designed to withstand daily use like high-traffic areas, pets, and spills. The rugs are from recycled plastic water bottles and are UV resistant, which makes them more durable than regular cotton or wool, ensuring they maintain their quality and beauty.

Product: Mim Concept (Lewis bed and Sophie dining chair)
Every piece from Mim Concept has a story behind it. Their latest products, the Lewis Teddy Bear Storage Bed was inspired by the founder’s new journey into motherhood. And as with all of their beds, there’s built-in storage and in this case, it’s seamless and hidden.
We photographed the bed from different angles to give you an idea of what it looks like, relative to the space. We also show the storage drawer closed and open so you can see how it works.
Mim Concept also released a new dining chair, Sophie. We show each product as a whole, then we move in and highlight its features.

Audience
Eco-concious stationery users, specifically millenials, look for sustainably-made products for everyday to help them take small steps to better the planet.
Results
A set of bright, lifestyle photos incorporating BIC’s ECOlution line of pens, pencils, and permanent markers to show the products in a natural and positive way. Combining natural light and artificial light to mimic natural light, the products are the focus on the images, while supported by related stationery.

WeWork opened a new office at 357 Bay St in the heart of Toronto’s financial district and I was commissioned to photograph the interior spaces for their website.
